Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Deltabeam collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
The only personal data we collect is what you enter in our demo request form, plus a small amount of technical data every website receives. We do not run advertising, we do not track you across the web, and we do not sell your data.
1. Who we are
Deltabeam (“Deltabeam,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates deltabeam.ai and is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything to do with your data or this policy, contact privacy@deltabeam.ai. We have not appointed a data protection officer; the privacy address reaches the people responsible for these matters.
2. Who and what this covers
This policy covers deltabeam.ai and the demo request form. It applies wherever you are, including if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a US state with its own privacy law such as California. It does not cover Metareview, our product, which is invite-only and governed separately.
3. What we collect
We collect two things, and nothing else:
- What you enter in the demo form. Your first and last name, business email, company, job title, country, and organization type; your phone number if you choose to add it; and a record that you agreed to be contacted (the checkbox state and the time you submitted).
- Basic technical data. Your IP address, which our servers and our bot-protection provider use briefly to rate-limit and screen the form against abuse; and aggregate, cookieless usage measurements from Vercel Web Analytics (the page visited, the referring page, coarse location such as country and region, and your browser, operating system, and device type). The analytics data is not tied to you: Vercel identifies visits by a short-lived hash derived from the request and discards it after 24 hours; it does not store your IP address and sets no cookies.
We do not collect special categories of data (such as health, biometric, or similar sensitive data), and we do not knowingly collect anything beyond the above.
4. Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your data only for the reasons below. For visitors in the EEA and UK, the legal basis under the GDPR is named against each purpose.
- To handle and respond to your demo request by reviewing it, evaluating fit, and getting in touch. Basis: taking steps at your request before any contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to inbound business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To follow up on that request as part of a normal business conversation. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the form secure and prevent spam and abuse. Basis: legitimate interest in protecting our systems (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To understand site usage in aggregate so we can improve the site. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)); the measurement is cookieless and not tied to you.
We do not use your data to make any decision about you by automated means, and we do not profile you. A person reviews every demo request.
5. The consent checkbox
When you submit the form you confirm you agree to us contacting you about your request and to the handling described here. That agreement is about this request; it is not a subscription to marketing. If we ever want to send you broader updates, we will ask separately, and you will be able to opt out at any time. Where we rely on your agreement, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing privacy@deltabeam.ai; withdrawing it does not affect anything we did lawfully beforehand.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data, we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We use a small set of service providers that process data on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes above:
- Resend sends us the notification email when you submit the form.
- Airtable stores your demo request so our team can follow up.
- Cloudflare (Turnstile) screens the form for bots and receives technical signals including your IP address.
- Vercel hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics described above.
Each acts as our processor under a data processing agreement, not for its own purposes. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
7. Where your data goes (international transfers)
Our service providers are based in the United States, so your data is transferred to and processed there. Where a provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions), as Vercel, Resend, and Cloudflare are, we rely on that framework and the European Commission’s related adequacy decision. Where a provider is not, transfers are made under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) with appropriate safeguards. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply by emailing privacy@deltabeam.ai.
8. How long we keep it
- Demo requests: kept for as long as we are in contact about your request and for up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymized, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
- Security and rate-limiting logs: kept only briefly, long enough to protect the form.
- Analytics: kept only in aggregate; the per-visit hash is discarded within 24 hours.
9. Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing here that requires your consent to store. Our bot-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a strictly necessary cookie to secure the form you are submitting, which is exempt from consent. Our analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) is cookieless and stores no personal data. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent first.
10. Your rights in the EEA and UK
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your data; to correct it; to have it deleted; to restrict or object to how we use it (including any use based on our legitimate interests); to receive it in a portable form; and, where we rely on your consent, to withdraw it. To exercise any of these, email privacy@deltabeam.ai. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office), though we would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
11. Your rights in California and other US states
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. The categories we collect, our purposes, and the providers we share with are listed above; the information comes from you directly. We do not sell or share your personal information, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not collect sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on those fronts, including via any Global Privacy Control signal. To make a request, email privacy@deltabeam.ai; we may need to verify your identity before we act on it.
12. Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you by solely automated means, and we do not carry out profiling.
13. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data and work only with providers that offer their own safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
14. Children
This site is for professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, make it clear on this page. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
16. Contact
